3 – Type of personal data collected and legal basis for their processing

Regarding the collection of personal data related to your Internet browsing (cookies), we invite you to read our dedicated cookie management policy. We also collect data that you specifically provide to us for each purpose:

  • Professional data allowing you to register for our various events (name, first name, job title, company, phone, professional email) to enable you access and receive the necessary information for your participation (badge creation, etc.) and to ensure the proper organization of the events you are registered for. The legal basis for these processes is the contract governing your participation in our events (the “Registration Conditions”). The same applies to your possible registrations for various workshops, symposiums, competitions, challenges, round tables, etc. organized by the Vauban Sessions and related events.
  • Depending on the locations where events take place and the personalities present that may explain specific security procedures for access, official data and documents for verifying your identity (identity card, etc.) and access control. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest, and in some specific cases, the existence of a regulatory obligation.
  • Data allowing us to identify you (name, first name, job title, company, phone, professional email) to invite you to future events that we or some of our partners will organize on similar topics and more broadly to carry out any prospecting operation related to topics (newsletters, publications), as part of a BtoB relationship. The legal basis for the processing of your professional data for this purpose is our legitimate interest.
  • Log files of our website visits (registration site, etc.) to optimize their operation and facilitate interactions with our services and the information we provide (browser language, assumed country of consultation, pages viewed, etc.) and also to secure these sites. The information collected may include the IP addresses allocated to your devices by your Internet service provider, your operating system, your internet browser, the configurations of your connection hardware and software, or the date and time of consultation. All of these processes are carried out on the legal basis of our legitimate interest.
Note: Information marked with an asterisk (*) in the various collection forms we use is essential for the processing of your request.
4 – Privacy and Security Measures

We take all reasonable measures (physical, logistical, organizational) to protect your data at the time of transmission, especially against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, through security measures such as vulnerability detection or the deployment of the HTTPS protocol in accordance with industry standards.

5 – Sharing on Social Networks Where You Have an Account

From our websites, we have provided you with the ability to easily share the pages you visit on your favorite social networks. The use of buttons to access social networks is indeed likely to involve the collection and exchange of certain data between social networks and group sites.

Our site uses “plug-ins” or social modules on its various pages (“share” buttons for social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). When you visit a page on one of our sites containing such social modules, a connection is automatically established with the servers of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) which can then be informed that you have accessed the corresponding page on our site.

If you want to limit the information published or known by these social networks, we recommend that you log out before visiting our site. Moreover, it is up to you to make the appropriate settings regarding access to your personal data on these social networks and to inform yourself about their Privacy Policy.
