1 – Who are we?

CEIS-Forward Global is a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of €31,576,704, registered with the Trade and Companies Registry of Paris under number 835004094, and with its registered office located at 17 Avenue Hoche, 75008 PARIS. We are the data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter “GDPR”) for the collection and processing of cookies on the website https://www.vauban-sessions.org/.

2 – What are the main regulations governing the deposit and use of cookies?

Several European and national texts regulate the use and deposit of cookies. Although not exhaustive, this list aims to inform you about the main applicable regulations and, if necessary, allow you to access and be aware of these regulatory texts.

3 – What is a cookie, and what cookies are used and deposited on this website?

A “cookie” is a small piece of information sent to the User’s browser and stored on the User’s terminal (e.g., computer, smartphone). The information stored by cookies includes pages visited, the type of browser you use, your IP address, and possibly the information you have entered on a site to save you from entering it again. Cookies pose no risk of damaging the User’s terminal. They are created for a limited period when a user’s browser loads a given website: the site sends information to the browser, which then creates a text file. Each time the user returns to the same site, the browser retrieves this file and sends it to the server of the website.

Cookies can be specific to a session, stored in your browser only during your browsing session, i.e., until you leave the site and are deleted afterward. Some of them can also be persistent: they remain in your browser after the session (unless you specifically delete them).

The use of our cookies may be based on our legitimate interest: they are intended to ensure the proper functioning of the site.

By exception, some cookies will only be deposited with your consent, following the recommendations of the CNIL.

We have classified our cookies into two main categories as follows:

  • Cookies exempt from consent. These are cookies that enable the proper functioning of the site. These may include user interface personalization trackers (e.g., for language choice or presentation of a service) when such personalization is an intrinsic and expected element of the service. It may also involve storing your cookie preferences. This is why, if you refuse to store cookies in your terminal or browser or delete those that are stored, your navigation and experience on the site https://www.vauban-sessions.org/ may be degraded.
  • Cookies for audience measurement and statistical analysis, allowing statistical or performance tracking to understand the performance of the site, establish statistics, visitor volumes, and usage of content (time spent on the site, etc.). They require your consent as they are not strictly necessary for the provision of the service.
